DESCRIPTION:This is a nation wide event with the goal of providing a safe and legal way for people to dispose of their old\, unwanted medications.  Every 6 months Communicare partners with DEA\, OPD\, and other community organizations to provide this service at no charge for area residents.  All disposals are completely anonymous\, no identifying information is collected.  Individuals simply stop by the table and drop their unwanted medications into the disposal box and go on their way.  We do recommend marking out any personal information on container labels.  Please do not place any "sharps" (needles\, etc) in the boxes.
