Houses for Houses

Houses for Houses is a fundraiser benefiting Oxford-Lafayette Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, non-profit organization that works in partnership with people in need to renovate and build affordable housing. This fundraiser will be held in conjunction with the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council at the Powerhouse during their monthly Art Crawl event on March 26th.

During the month of March (March 4th – April 1), the Arts Council will display birdhouses created/decorated by local artists and individuals, and these birdhouses will be up for auction during that time. On the night of the Art Crawl, Oxford-Lafayette Habitat for Humanity will host a reception at the Powerhouse. That night people can continue to bid on the birdhouses, and one birdhouse will be raffled off. We will draw for the winner that night.
