Each spring Project Homestead (a group of professionals from community organizations that work with child abuse prevention and intervention City, County, and University Law Enforcement, Department of Human Services, Family Crisis Services, Lift, 4-H, Communicare, and Oxford and Lafayette Schools, just to name a few) join together to raise awareness about Child Abuse in our community through promoting various events that provide a safe, family-oriented arena for activities and to distribute the message regarding child abuse prevention & safety and promoting healthy families, and healthy lifestyles.
