Startup Weekend is an intense 54-hour event powered by Google for Entrepreneurs that operates worldwide and brings together entrepreneurs, programmers, coders, developers and other business-minded individuals for a weekend of company creation.

Get Your Idea Heard
All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it's a 54-hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations, feedback and awards.

Startup Weekend Oxford is organized by the employees of Innovate Mississippi and in partnership with the University of Mississippi, Insight Park, the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation and sponsored by FNC, SuperTalk, Q93.7, Charter Road Hospitality, Taco Bell, Abner's, No Time to Cook, Panera Bread, Casa Mexicana and Allen Samuels, Swetland Cook PLLC, Abbeville Bank, M&F Bank-Oxford, Rebel Bookstore, Domino's Pizza, and Caterpiller.

Non-Technical (Early Bird)

This ticket type applies to business, marketing & PR, and anyone with a non-technical background. Students: use code "STUDENT" and pay just $25. You will be required to show Student ID at the door

Developer (Early Bird)

This ticket type applies to software engineers/coders/developers - in short, anybody who can and will write code. Students: use code "STUDENT" and pay just $25. You will be required to show Student ID at the door.

Designer (Early Bird)

This ticket type applies to anybody with a background in design (graphics, UX/UI, etc.) Students: use code "STUDENT" and pay just $25. You will be required to show Student ID at the door.

Non-Technical
