We Can Be Heroes! Mississippi's Walk for Diabetes

It's not just another walk in the park-it's the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi's "We can be Heroes! "Walk for Diabetes! Come dressed as your favorite Super hero, bring your well mannered furry sidekick and join the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi  and our Kandu Kids at Lyceum Loop in Oxford as we take the first steps toward making a difference in the lives of Mississippi kids and adults. Every dollar raised here STAYS in the Magnolia state to help fund the programs and services of the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi, including Camp Kandu, Mississippi's only camp for children with diabetes and their families, "Sweet Subject" school diabetes education, patient assistance for needy Mississippians and more!

Registration starts at 1 pm and the Walk/5K run at 2 pm. Picnic with your friends after the Walk! Teams and individuals are welcomed! $20 registration fee for the Walk or Run, those raising $50 and above receive the commemorative Walk T-shirt featuring "Banjo the Super Hero" by Marshall Ramsey!
