Please join us for our 8th Annual Stars & Stripes 5K Classic on the Oxford Square. Enjoy our fun, fast, and flat race through historic downtown Oxford to celebrate our nation’s independence. You can also bring the whole family (& Fido, too) and participate in the ½ mile Family Fun Run that takes place after the 5k. All participants will receive a race number and official Stars and Stripes t-shirt. After the race enjoy food, drink and the awards ceremony. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place awards for the 5K will be given to winners in each age group for both male and female categories made by one of our fine local artist. Water provided along the race route. Port-o-potties located behind City Hall. Stars & Stripes on the Square 5K Classic will use the Best Times ChampionChip timing technology. To get an official race time and be included in the race results, participants MUST wear a race chip (rental fee is included in your registration fee). Mail-in registration not received by July 1st is not guaranteed to be processed. Registration time: 6:00 am-7:15 am.  All proceeds benefit the animals at the Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society.
